WORSHIP SERVICES

 
 

Contemporary Worship Service 9:30 am

The 9:30 service is contemporary in style. The music is led by a praise band with projected lyrics and visuals. Composed of vocalists, a pianist, a drummer, and guitarists, the praise band leads worship with today’s biggest Christian hits. Pastor Scott preaches his message and the service lasts nearly an hour.

Children two years and up enjoy a children’s sermon and then are dismissed to their Sunday school classes or back to sit with their parents.

Traditional Worship Service 11:00 Am

The 11:00 service is more traditional. Music is generally out of two hymnals, and our adult Chancel Choir sings every week except in summer. Accompaniment is either on the organ or piano. Pastor Scott preaches his message and the service usually ends at noon.

We offer a space for our youth to feel safe and celebrated as they connect with other students their age and grow in their faith.

 

Children fellowship and Sunday School

Church of the Cross' ministry to children affirms that children are precious gifts of God. As a congregation we strive to help children know God through a personal relationship with Jesus.

The mission of Church of the Cross extends well beyond the walls of the building and takes the form of many different ministries both locally and internationally.
