I trust this web site helps you to understand what a wonderful community of faith Church of the Cross is becoming. If you are looking for a church that is not too large or too small, we may be right for you. If you are
looking for a church where you can grow and be yourself, we may be right for you. If you are looking for a church where questions, doubts, and fears can be honestly expressed, we may be right for you. If you are looking for a way to serve the living Christ and grow in the Spirit, we may be right for you.

The heart of our church vision states that “Jesus Christ changes lives.” When I say “Jesus” I do not mean a concept, a symbolic figure, or a person confined to history. Jesus is not dead; Jesus is indeed a life-giving spirit. Jesus is changing my life and I join people throughout the earth in declaring “Jesus is Lord.”

There is a grace-filled atmosphere at Church of the Cross. There are exciting contemporary and traditional worship services, education, numerous musical and mission opportunities, and lots of fellowship. My wife, Mary Lynn, and I have raised our family in Church of the Cross. We now have three grown children: Rebekah, Rachel, and Michael.

Whether you are a follower of Christ or contemplating the Christian life, I believe you will find a hospitable and warm welcome at Church of the Cross.
